ATM Calculator

The ATM Calculator assists users in determining the minimum required Aggregate Trailer Mass (ATM) for selected trailer combinations using entered axle group masses, tare masses and other relevant inputs for Semi Trailer, Dog Trailer, B-Double and Low Loader configurations. ATM represents the loaded mass of a trailer when it is standing alone and not coupled to a towing vehicle.

Users should enter the applicable axle group masses and tare values for the selected vehicle type. The calculator then determines the minimum required ATM values for the relevant trailer or dolly units.

This tool is intended as a practical assessment aid only. Users are responsible for ensuring that all vehicle masses, trailer ratings, coupling ratings and operating conditions comply with the applicable regulatory, manufacturer and engineering requirements.
